Patchy Colloids is a project funded by an ERC Senior Grant (Grant agreement no.: 226207), started April 1 2009, based on a proposal written by Prof. Francesco Sciortino, working at the Universita' La Sapienza in Rome, Italy. The project is entitled:
Patchy colloidal particles: a powerful arsenal for the fabrication of tomorrow new super-molecules. A theoretical and numerical study of their assembly processes.
The project focus on the phase behavior of colloidal particles interacting with anisotropic interactions (i.e. patchy particles). We carry out our studies mainly through numerical simulations, complemented, when possible, by theoretical approaches. You can read the project at Documents.
The project has been successfully completed on April 1 2014
